If you live somewhere whose language you don’t read, Google won’t let you forget it. It looks at where you’re connecting from and shows you everything in that language: the buttons, the results, even the websites it picks.
LocalView lets you choose for yourself. Click its icon, pick the language you want Google in, the language you want your results in and the country you want them from, and every Google page follows. Your location and everything else stay exactly as they are.
What you can do with it
- Use Google in your own language, wherever you are.
- See what Google shows people in another country, like looking something up in the UK from Japan.
- Save the setups you use most and switch between them with one tap.
- Give specific Google services their own settings, like keeping Maps in the local language while everything else is in yours.
Nothing leaves your browser
It doesn’t collect anything or send anything anywhere. Your settings stay in Chrome, and it only runs on Google’s own sites.
